Had the Izzy for about 9 months now and it has been everything I hoped it would be. It is comfortable to ride, has great power for climbing the hills in the San Clemente area and outstanding range. Have ridden it for nearly 50 miles on a single charge and still had battery life to spare. If you are considering a cruiser style ebike, you really need to put this bike at the top of your list.
We bought the Izzy for me and a PAX set through for my wife and I and they are exactly what we wanted. It is a classic cruiser look and feel. Comfortable ride and they are well built. The speed and range is as advertised with the 40 Mike range being conservative in my opinion. I think it is closer to 50 miles depending on how much assist you use. I was going back and forth between the Izzy and the Fat Murf I went with the Izzy for the traditional look and lighter weight. We throw these on racks often enough that the lighter weight is nice. The only problem is that it is tough to keep up with my wife on long uphill sections since she weighs lbs less than me. The extra power would be nice but not a big deal. If there was one thing to be critical of it would be the seat. It is fine and comfortable for shorter rides, 10 miles or less but the longer rides it is a little rough. It might be a personal thing. The buying experience was great too. Everyone I dealt with was upfront and honest and the deliveries were as I was told. I highly recommend the Murf.
I live atop Salvador in San Clemente. Really steep and long. Prior electric bike was no match for the climb..my murf gobbles it up at only power level 3 out of 5. But best part is local fabulous service
Currently living in Boston but was able to come to test drive a Murf while I was visiting family in San Diego. About 2.5 seconds into the test ride I knew I was shipping of these babies out to Boston. As someone who commutes through the city, this bike is the perfect solution to over crowded busses and subways, the ridiculous traffic, and zipping around town for groceries or any other errands. Kiara, Cameron and Josh were INCREDIBLE from test ride to set up, getting me all the information I would need to get my Murf up and running. Cameron was available with quick responses and able to set up a FaceTime to help me get all my accessories attached correctly and answer all of my questions. The assembly was a cinch- especially with the help of the online video. You're not living until you get one.
