Use the Official Murf Charger
Always charge with the included Murf charger for safety and performance. Not doing so puts yourself at risk.

Let It Cool Before Charging
Wait at least 30 minutes after riding to charge a warm battery.

Store at 40%–60% Charge
Ideal for long-term battery health. Avoid storing fully charged or fully drained.

Keep It Cool & Dry
Store between 60°F–75°F in a well-ventilated area. Do NOT use if the battery becomes excessively hot.

Top Off Every 2–3 Months
Even during storage, recharge periodically to maintain health and balance.

Things To Avoid

Do not leave the Battery at 0% or 100% for 30+ Days
Can shorten lifespan due to cell stress.

Charging in Extreme Temperatures
Don’t charge in freezing or excessively hot environments.

Storing in Direct Sunlight
Avoid overheating by keeping the battery out of the sun or near heat sources.

Water & Moisture
Avoid submerging the battery or riding through deep water. Keep battery away from water, sand, and salt exposure

Leaving on the Charger Indefinitely
Never leave the battery charging unattended or overnight. Once fully charged, unplug the battery.

Do NOT disassemble or attempt to repair the battery.
Doing so may cause fire, injury, or death.

Murf e-bike batteries are high-capacity lithium-ion systems and must be handled with care. Only use Murf-approved batteries and chargers. Do not modify, open, damage, or expose the battery to extreme heat, water, or flame.

Charge the battery in a dry, well-ventilated area using a wall outlet, and do not charge unattended. If the battery shows signs of damage, overheating, swelling, or unusual odor, stop using it immediately and contact Murf Support.
