Terms & Conditions

By purchasing a Murf Electric Bike, you agree to the Terms & Conditions set forth below. Please read these terms carefully before completing your purchase. These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases made through our website, authorized dealers, or any other sales channel.
1. Warranty
Two-Year Limited Warranty – Bicycle Components
MURF Electric Bikes (“MURF”) warrants that all new Murf Electric Bikes (“Bikes”) and components are warranted to the original retail purchaser (“Purchaser”) against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the original date of retail purchase.
This warranty does not extend to:
Damage resulting from water exposure or water-related incidents
Damage resulting from the Purchaser exceeding the weight limit of 250 lbs. (weight limit includes both rider and any gear)
Normal wear and tear
Damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper assembly, or modification
Damage caused by accidents or operation outside of intended use
Two-Year Limited Warranty – Battery Components
Murf warrants to the original purchaser that the battery is free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of two (2) years from the date of original retail purchase. This warranty does not extend to:
Water-related damage
Damage resulting from the Purchaser exceeding the weight limit of 250 lbs. (including rider and gear)
Normal wear and tear, including depletion of battery capacity over time
The defective product will be replaced or repaired if the claim meets applicable pre-conditions. The original receipt of purchase is required to establish proof of purchase and warranty date and must be provided to MURF for all warranty claims. The original battery sale receipt must be maintained for any further claims.
All replacement batteries will be warranted for the balance of the original warranty period. Replacement will be honored only by MURF. The Purchaser is responsible for the following costs associated with any replacement:
Labor for removal or installation
Applicable taxes
Shipping or transportation costs incurred in returning the battery to MURF for evaluation
2. Indemnification
Purchaser hereby releases, indemnifies, and holds harmless MURF and its parent companies, successors, assignees, and their respective officers, directors, agents, and employees from and against all claims arising from or related to use by Purchaser or any third party.
Purchaser covenants that, at its own expense and at the request of MURF, it will investigate and resolve every such claim made and defend every suit, action, or proceeding that may be brought against MURF based on any such claim, including but not limited to any suit, action, or proceeding brought based on contract, tort, or product liability claims.
Purchaser agrees to pay all costs, damages, expenses (including attorney’s fees), and judgments that MURF may sustain by reason of any such claim, suit, action, or proceeding. MURF shall, within a reasonable period of time, give Purchaser written notice of any such claim, counterclaim, suit, action, or proceeding.
3. Entire Agreement / No Returns Policy
Purchaser agrees that this purchase agreement includes all of the terms, conditions, and warranties as set forth herein, and that this Agreement cancels and supersedes any prior agreement. As of the date of purchase, this Agreement comprises the complete and exclusive statement of the terms relating to the subject matters covered.
The Purchaser, by completing this purchase, acknowledges that he/she has read and understood its terms, conditions, and warranties.
NO RETURNS, REFUNDS, OR EXCHANGES ARE PERMISSIBLE EXCEPT AS NOTED ABOVE.
4. Age Requirements
By purchasing a Murf Electric Bike, you agree to the following age-related conditions:
If purchasing a Class 3 Murf Electric Bike, you affirm that the bike will only be operated by users 16 years of age or older.
Class 3 electric bikes are defined as bikes with a maximum assisted speed of 28 mph and are subject to applicable state and local laws governing minimum rider age.
It is the responsibility of the Purchaser to understand and comply with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding the operation of electric bicycles.
5. SMS / Text Message Marketing Terms
Program Name & Description
The Murf Electric Bikes SMS Marketing Program (“Messaging Program”) allows Murf Electric Bikes to send you recurring automated marketing text messages, including promotional offers, new product announcements, order updates, shipping notifications, and shopping cart reminders. Messages are sent via short code or long code to the mobile number you provided at opt-in.
Consent & Enrollment
By providing your mobile phone number and opting in via our website, checkout process, or any other enrollment point, you consent to receive recurring automated marketing and transactional text messages from Murf Electric Bikes.
Consent to receive automated marketing text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your activity and preferences. You may receive up to 4–6 messages per month. Recurring messages include promotional alerts, cart reminders, and order/shipping updates.
Message & Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging and data rates charged by your carrier may apply to all messages sent and received through this program. Murf Electric Bikes is not responsible for any fees charged by your mobile carrier.

How to Opt Out
To stop receiving SMS messages from Murf Electric Bikes at any time, reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any message we send you. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation text and no further marketing messages will be sent unless you re-enroll. To re-enroll, text START or sign up again on our website.

Carrier Liability Disclaimer
Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages. Murf Electric Bikes and its messaging service providers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier issues, device compatibility, or other factors outside our control.
Privacy Policy
Your use of the Messaging Program is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is available at: https://www.murfelectricbikes.com/privacy-policy. Our Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, including your mobile phone number and messaging history. We do not share mobile contact information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
6. General Provisions
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state in which Murf Electric Bikes LLC is incorporated, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction.
Murf Electric Bikes reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our products or services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
