Best Bike

The murf fat tire was a perfect fit for me. Not only it has great speed, distance and technology, the price of it was amazing for the value. I’m only 15 and for this price, it was very worth it. In the past, I got this same bike stolen but I got a new one because of how amazing this bike was. I highly recommend buying it to anyone whether it’s for riding with your friends, food delivery or just cruising on the beach.

Love this bike

Great bike, I have several beach cruisers, but this is my first electric bike. The bike is easy to setup and fun ride. If you order online it’s worth the the wait. Love my fat Murf !!

Two Fat Murf’s

After almost three months, the two bikes have been great. I did a 45 mile bike trail ride on about half battery charge using #3 pedal assist in 7th gear. I only wish we could get a few optional items! The bikes are still without fenders, racks, reflectors, or drink holders.

Surf Machine

Bike is awesome. Rack and basket to carry gear, phone holder and I’m ready to hit the beach. Power rolls on real easy when I need an assist. This bike is very heavy duty and well made!

The Fat Murf

The Fat Murf is the ebike that started it all for us. The original electric beach cruiser. Just like all of our bikes the Fat Murf features a 52 VOLT battery that provides high torque and high capacity which means you can ride up to 50 miles, over all sorts of terrain, and barely break a sweat. The 4 inch fat tires absorb bumps and act as a mild suspension system. Hydraulic disk brakes will safely bring you to a stop and the classic beach cruiser frame will have people asking you all about your new bike. The handlebar mounted control screen offers you 5 different levels of pedal assist so that you can dial in the perfect amount of power. And if you feel like taking it easy just use the thumb throttle and ride this ebike like a moped. If you're in the market for a new electric bike you can't go wrong with a Murf.

The Murf Difference

Since our start we've continually strived to be a different type of electric bike company. Many of our competitors will sell you a bike but when the time comes to help you out with some service they're no where to be found. Not Murf. We attribute our success as a company to our customer service and that shows in the number of people that refer their friends and relatives to us. We honor our 2 year warranty without hesitation and strive to offer the best customer service in the e-bike business.

52 Volt Batteries

When it comes to batteries for electric bikes, bigger is always better. The battery for the Fat Murf comes in at 52 Volts and 17.5 Amp Hours. What does that mean? Simply put, a higher voltage battery is able to deliver the same amount of power using less current, this means you'll get awesome power from your bike while generating less heat in the motor and controller. A higher voltage also allows you to get more range out of your bike before you notice any decrease in power. Amp hours can be thought of as the amount of gas your battery can hold. A higher amp hour number means you'll get more range per charge. We regularly have customers tell us they're able to ride up to, and even over, 50 miles per charge.

Let's Talk Value

You can find a cheaper electric bike, and you can definitely find a more expensive electric bike, but when it comes to value you'll have a hard time finding something better than a Murf. When you compare components, battery specs, reliability, and included warranty, a Murf Electric Bike offers the best value in the ebike world. Take a look at our reviews or ask a friend who owns one of our bikes, we think they'll agree.

Dustin Franks

Dustin Franks would surf two to three times a day as a kid. But, like most of us, work and other responsibilities began to cut in to his recreation time as he got older. Watch Dustin talk about how owning a Fat Murf enables him to sneak surf sessions in when he otherwise wouldn't be able to.

Leon Page

Leon uses his Fat Murf to explore San Clemente and the surrounding areas. He routinely rides 40 miles per day on the weekends and tries to take a new road or trail every time he rides. On top of that he tells us he's lost 25 lbs since getting his Murf. Not bad for an e-bike.
